How the process works, step by step
- A conversation. You share what you want — a reference, an occasion, a fit you love.
- Choose cloth and silhouette. You pick a fabric and a shape, and see an estimate before committing.
- Measurements. Taken in person or shared from home using a simple guide.
- Making. The piece is cut, dyed if needed, and stitched — usually over two to five weeks.
- Fitting and finish. A fitting or two fine-tunes it; small alterations later are normal.
Why made-to-order is more sustainable
- No over-production. Nothing is made until it's wanted, so there's no unsold stock to discard.
- Less material waste. Cutting to a single garment lets an atelier plan fabric use tightly.
- It lasts. A piece that fits well and is made by hand from natural fibre is worn for years.
